jessie and zan decided to throw an awesomely fun and fantastic wedding party for all their closest family and friends at the charleston library society. as you can quickly tell, these two folks are pretty happy to be married and really enjoy celebrating life. we started off cruising through the streets of downtown charleston where zan managed to show off his ability to fly, while his friends lifted jessie to the sky. upon arriving to the charleston library society lit candles guided their guests up to the top of the stairs where they greeted each person. inside duvall delivered delectable hors d’oeuvres while their guests mingled among the books. dinner was served family style and jessie used her excellent classroom management skills as they asked people to meet a new neighbor and answer one of two random questions, 1. who do you like better – jessie or zan 😉 OR 2. what did you last google? needless to say there was a lot of hilarious conversations a flutter. during dinner there were multiple toasts and roasts given. their buddy stew lit up the dance floor with his dj tunes, and the library was energized. we wish jessie and zan rad times keeping life a big celebration.
when caitlin and rich first met in the nations capital they lived 3,500 miles apart, but they were immediately smitten with one another. months and trips back and forth came and went, and they knew they were ready for marriage. rich proposed in washington d.c., and come the following spring they exchanged “i do’s” in a sweet court-house setting in england where 65 years earlier rich’s gran phyllis married his late grandad phil. a little over a year later they decided getting married was so fun they would do it all over again, just this time with a few more of their family and friends around to celebrate. their boone hall wedding was nothing short of fantastic. caitlin and rich had a first look under the sweeping oak tree, and then their family joined them for some photos before the ceremony. their wedding ceremony took place under the avenue of oaks, and their guests headed straight over to the cotton dock afterward to refresh with a pimm’s cup cocktail. the evening was spent laughing with family and friends, enjoying freshly rolled cigars and taking in the breeze from the river. we wish caitlin and rich a lifetime of happiness.
callie and will decided to have their wedding at their favorite place. kiawah is where callie spent most of her childhood summers, and once she introduced will to the island he quickly realized his love for kiawah too. their kiawah island wedding day at the river course clubhouse was nothing short of stunning. after the girls got ready at the cassique clubhouse they headed over to the river course clubhouse where callie and will had their first look. their family and closest friends watched as will saw callie for the first time in her romona keveza spring 2017 collection bridal gown, which callie was the first to don in the entire world. a gaggle of seven adorable flower girls and a ring bearer dressed the ground with petals just before callie’s dad walked her down the aisle. after a sweet ceremony, everyone headed to cocktails swiftly followed by callie and will’s introduction as husband and wife. callie and her dad surprised everyone with a special first dance montage, and then callie called up all her single lady bridesmaids to join in on the fun. a delectable dinner was served by the kiawah island club amidst the gold and white decor with touches of green. we headed out to the back lawn for photos of the bride and groom as the sun set over the ashley river. soon after, dancing continued all night to the sounds of the maxx band. callie and will were sent off through a stream of bubbles, and we wish them many more fantastic days together shooting skeet and relaxing on kiawah island.
